REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 16TH, 2026 for ridges members,
march 18th for the public
Please renew your membership or check your membership status before registration opens so you can get early access to registration! Not sure if you're a Ridges member? Give us a call at (920)-839-2802.

Members will be emailed the special Early Access code on Friday, February 27. Be sure the email you use on your membership is the one you are checking for your Early Access code! Once you have your code, visit the following password protected page on the Festival of Nature website to register:
Tips for Registration:

Our CourseStorm site will have all available Festival of Nature field trips listed. You can scroll down and navigate between pages to view all options. Each field trip will show the date, time, price, and if there are a limited number of seats remaining. To register for a field trip, click on the field trip title.

Registering is easy! Once you click on an individual field trip and click "Register", follow the prompts. Be sure to include yourself in the registration if you want to register for the field trip! Click on the "Add Person" icon to add additional people to the registration. ​​​​​​​​​​

​Follow the prompts for important registration information, including your contact information, agreements, and registrant birthdates. Why birthdates? We have some age restricted programs for children and adults, including our Backpack Adventure Camps. CourseStorm helps us ensure that everyone registering for a program is in the program age group!

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Review your order on the Check Out page before entering your payment. On the left side of the window, you will see everyone currently in your cart. You can always exit the cart and add more people or classes to the order! Confirm your order details, including the classes you added to your cart, by clicking "View Details" on your order.
program fees
Program fees per field trip vary from $30 to $65 per person, per program. Prices are listed in each program description. Price per youth under the age of 16, costs 50% of the program’s full price.* When registering as a member or as youth, please be prepared to provide membership details and/or date of birth in the registration portal.

cancellation policy
The Door County Festival of Nature reserves the right to cancel an activity or field trip when necessary. If a trip is canceled, you will be notified as soon as possible so that you may select an alternate trip or receive a full refund. Please make sure to provide us with a phone number for last-minute communications. You can cancel your registration by email or phone. Cancellations made 30 days prior to the program start date will be refunded in full, minus a $10 processing fee. Cancellations made between 8 and 29 days prior to the program start date will be refunded at 50% of the total fees. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the program start date.

Some field trips with partners may have the opportunity to be rescheduled if cancelled due to weather. We will reach out to participants directly in this case to determine a preferred solution to cancellation.
